2018 Money Forecast for 12 zodiac signs:
(Forecasts for General, Love & Business are posted at the bottom)
This year we have a mix of the expected and the unexpected and fortunately in both cases, there is nothing but good news. What you can be sure of from the get go though is that this is going to be a BIG year for both income and money matters as a whole. The expected is on the financial front, for while 2018 is destined to be a lucky year for money matters, with the potential for real financial growth, Jupiter has been in your financial sector since October 2017. This has given the planet of luck and expansion time to establish a foothold and with a lot of support in the closing months of 2017, to gain some momentum. You not only begin the year with Jupiter in your financial sector but Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos as well. Having returned in early December, they spent the closing weeks of 2017 together and not due to leave until the 27th January, will spend the early weeks of 2018 together. You not only start the year with luck on your side from the get go, but with your financial passions and fighting spirit fuelled. You should start the year with a good sense of what you’re fighting for, while ready to fight for what you want from the get go. Apart from a Full Moon on the 30th April, Jupiter will spend much of the year in the background, before Mercury returns on the 10th October, followed by the Sun and Venus in a push to bring things home. With Jupiter not leaving until the 9th November, this will see a lot of things come together in his final month. It is on the income front that you will experience the unexpected. Even when Venus returns to your income sector on the 31st March, the Sun on the 20th April and Mercury on the 14th May there will be nothing to suggest that this is anything other than your annual update. The Sun will always move through your income sector at this time each year, with Venus and Mercury never far away. However, it’s on the 16th May, a day after a New Moon on the 15th May that everything changes. This is the day that what started as an annual update that income matters get at this time each year, turns into something game changing. For this is the day that Uranus returns to your income sector for the first time since 1942 and apart from a short break from the 7th November 2018 to the 6th March 2019, he’s here until 2026. Jupiter might be making this a lucky year for money matters, but Uranus will take you into an eight year period of income growth.
When Saturn left your financial sector on the 20th December 2017, he brought a three year financial boot camp to a close. Whatever challenges you went through between December 2014 and December 2017, whatever you had to face, take ownership of or deal with, has given you the kind of financial savvy that you will benefit from for decades. While Saturn doesn’t create challenges where there are none, he doesn’t let you avoid anything either. Saturn is all about learning and growth and as he was here for three years, if you didn’t learn from one financial lesson, he would wait patiently for the next one to come along, only to be hammered again. This makes the most defining factor of this financial year the fact that Saturn is gone. The toughest financial years in a 30 year period are behind you and he won’t be back for another 28 years. In the meantime, there are still some loose ends to tie up. The Sun left two days behind Saturn and Venus three days later, leaving behind Mercury and his smart head for money to tie up loose ends, before he too leaves on the 11th January. However, this does not bring money matters to a close and instead, Mars’ return on the 27th January is a chance to benefit from everything you’ve learned over the last three years. Mars will move through from the 27th January to the 18th March and on his own, will fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit and fight to gain all the advantages you have worked for over the last three years. These are the most powerful weeks of 2018 for taking your financial power back. Yet it is the closing months of the year that something special will happen. For on the 9th November, just 13 days before the Sun’s return on the 22nd November, Jupiter will return to kick off your luckiest financial year in over a decade and a year full of potential for financial growth. Almost 11 months after Saturn’s three year financial boot camp ended, your luckiest year for money matters in over a decade begins. You’ve put in the hard work in order to be ready to receive the gains. This makes the early and later months of the year the most important for money matters. There are no major developments on the income front this year so therefore no major demands. However, there is a lucrative period that runs from the 25th April the 13th June that can be exploited. While this is only an annual update, for the first time in four years there are no planets in your financial sector at the time, so therefore no oppositions, no competition and no financial tension. With a clear path these have the potential to be the most lucrative weeks of 2018.
As far as the money gods are concerned this is a mix of the expected and the unexpected, with the year not revealing all its secrets or potential until later in the year. First impressions make it obvious that this is a huge year for money matters, even more so than in most years. You have the distinction of being the sign that will always start and end each year with the Sun in your financial sector and therefore with the solar spotlight always on your financial situation and money matters from the get go. That is because the Sun moves through from the 22nd December to the 20th January each year and this year is no exception. Since 2008 you have also had Pluto, planet of change and revolution in your financial sector, on a mission to promote financial growth, change and evolution until leaving in 2024. However, for the first time in 27 years, you also move into the New Year with Saturn in your financial sector, where he will stay until 2020. This is the first and only time that you will have Saturn and Pluto in your financial sector in our lifetime and brings you to not just the start of your most powerful financial year ever, but the first of the three most powerful years. With lucky Jupiter joining them at the end of next year, 2020 will be the most powerful. Pluto has been calling for change and evolution since 2008, but Saturn brings the structure, steely sense of resolve and determination to take your power back and make it happen. This brings you to the start of a three year financial boot camp, but with Pluto here you’re not going to get bogged down and you’re not going to spend months dealing with issues. This is the right mix of Pluto’s impatience and Saturn’s patience. There will be a lot of support as the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through in January, but the real support will come when Mars returns to your financial sector on the 18th March. Mars will leave on the 16th May but will retrograde back in for a double dip visit from the 13th August to the 11th September. To have Mars, Saturn and Pluto together in your financial sector is something you’ve never experienced before and to have this extend for so long will allow Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos to really drive things. With the Sun, Mercury and Venus all passing through your income sector from the 20th May to the 23rd July, this fits neatly into the break that Mars will take from your financial sector from the 16th May to the 13th August. However, having Saturn and Pluto on the other side of the sky will keep income forces on their toes. This is when the element of the unexpected comes into play that I alluded to at the start. The Sun’s departure from your income sector on the 23rd July brings all planetary activity on the income front for the year to a close, but the North Node’s return on the 7th November opens the door to an especially fateful and lucrative period that will run through to May 2020.
The North Node’s return to your income sector and the South Node’s to your financial sector in May 2017 and their position there until the 7th November this year, has big implications on your financial year. There was a taste of this with a pair of eclipses last August, but until the lunar nodes leave, the eclipses will continue and with it fateful and unexpected developments. For the rest of the year the lunar nodes act as giant magnets, though with a very different influence. The South Node is connected to the past, but also on helping you to break free from old habits and patterns. In your financial sector until the 7th November, is the process that will continue behind the scenes. Though when there is planetary activity on the financial front, then this expands to include the potential to access untapped financial potential. The North Node, on the other hand, is connected with the future and works through the element of luck and fate. In your income sector until the 7th November, this creates the potential for a lucrative year, with steady income growth. When there is planetary activity here and especially during an eclipse, this increases the potential for income breakthroughs. You have had Ceres in your income sector since September 2017 and while she will leave on the 28th June, with Venus returning on the 14th June and then continuous planetary activity through to September 6th, there is almost continuous support on the income front. That is not the norm where the North Node is concerned. This makes the whole of 2018 a lucrative zone, but there are some especially lucrative periods. They will be around the time of a total lunar eclipse in your income sector on the 1st February, a solar eclipse on the 11th August and while Venus moves through from the 14th June to the 10th July. These are the hot spots, but a warm field of potential runs from the 14th June to the 6th September. While the North Node will leave on the 7th November, with another total lunar eclipse in January 2019, the year will end with more untapped income potential. By the time you move into the New Year all the planetary activity has been on the income front and the South Node has been on its own on the financial front, so you haven’t yet seen the full potential here. That will change with Venus’ return to your financial sector on the 18th January, the Sun’s on the 20th January and Mercury’s on the 1st February. With a solar eclipse on the 16th February, this could trigger some unexpected financial gains or developments, with a lot of untapped financial potential by then. That planetary push will run its course with the Sun’s departure on the 19th February, but money matters will get another push when Mars moves through, not once but twice. Mars will move through from the 16th May to the 13th August and again from the 11th September to the 16th November. It is during Mars’ first visit that a total lunar eclipse on the 28th July could really spur the warrior planet of the cosmos into action.
While the main focus is on your financial situation and money matters as a whole this year, the planetary activity that you do have on the income front is all favourable and is likely to punch well above its weight. And for a similar reason for why this is destined to be such a good year for money matters as a whole, which is outside support. Chiron, gatekeeper to old financial demons, has been in your financial sector since 2010 and Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies since 2012. These are an unlikely pair, as Neptune is all about financial dreams and Chiron deals with the realities of old financial demons. This year two things happen that change everything. The first is the support that both planets are getting from lucky Jupiter this year, support that will remain strong right through to early November. The second thing that happens is that Chiron will leave your financial sector on the 17th April, taking him out of the game. This will leave Neptune on his own for the first time since he arrived, with a chance to get serious about your financial dreams. The more active point of the year for money matters is when the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through. This year this will begin with Venus’ return on the 11th February and will run through to the Sun’s departure on the 21st March. This isn’t a very long period and with Mercury in here from the 18th February to the 6th March, this is a chance to get in, take care of any financial housekeeping and move on. The biggest impact from Chiron’s departure from your financial sector is more likely to be felt on the income front. The most lucrative months of the year are when there is planetary activity in your income sector, which there will be from Ceres’ return on the 28th June to the Sun’s departure on the 23rd September. This is a period of nearly three months, almost twice as long as the planetary activity on the financial front earlier in the year. That is because Ceres is making her first visit in four years and the timing couldn’t be better. Chiron will return to your financial sector on the 26th September, before finally leaving for good next February. The window that Chiron won’t be in your financial sector and therefore won’t put pressure on the planets in your income sector runs from the 17th April to the 26th September. And the most lucrative months of the year on the income front run from the 28th June to the 23rd September, ending just three days before Chiron returns. I said at the start that the planetary activity on the income front would punch above its weight and that is because of the huge developments on the job front this year. It is right during the time that the planetary activity is playing out on the income front that Mars will be helping to create some stunning conditions on the job front.
The most important factor in this financial year is what isn’t here. The last two years have been dominated by the conflict between Uranus in your financial sector and Jupiter in your income sector. From December 2016 to September 2017, they had moved into opposition three times and with Eris in your financial sector as well, financial tension and conflict between income and financial forces had become the norm. Or at least it had been since Jupiter returned to your income sector in September 2016 and only really ran its course when Mars left in December 2017. The fact that you start the year with no planetary activity on the income front is good news for both income and money matters. With Uranus turning direct in your financial sector on the 3rd January, this will allow for a trouble free financial turnaround, with a chance for a fresh start to this financial year. While this will leave you with no planets in play on the income front, as 16 months of activity only ran its course in December, there is more than enough momentum. In addition, income matters will get their turn in the second half of the year. However, a Full Moon in your income sector on the 1st April, the first since lucky Jupiter left, could trigger some unexpected income developments. The early months of the year belong to money matters and with Uranus leaving on the 16th May, this is a chance to bring together everything he has been working towards since he returned in 2010. Mercury, who normally moves through your financial sector in 15 days, is here from the 6th March to the 14th May, thanks to a retrograde phase from the 23rd March to the 15th April. With Uranus leaving two days after Mercury, you will have his smart head for money to work with during his final months. Uranus will be back from the 7th November 2018 to the 6th March, but only to tie up loose ends. More importantly Uranus will be gone from your financial sector from the 16th May to the 7th November. With the most lucrative months of the year on the income front running from the 7th August to the 3rd December, much of that will be spent without Uranus in opposition, something that last happened in 2009. What is important about this time is that Venus, planet of money will make two visits to your income sector this year. The 24 to 25 days that Venus spends in your income sector each year are always the most potentially lucrative. This year Venus will move through from the 7th August to the 9th September, only to return for a double dip visit from the 1st November to the 3rd December. Venus is the only planet still in your income sector when Uranus returns to your financial sector, with their opposition more likely to keep both sides on their toes.
In any given year there will be parts of the year where there is planetary activity on the income front and other parts of the year when there is planetary activity on the financial front. This is the normal pattern of a normal year, with the focus usually on income matters in October and November and the focus on money matters as a whole, in April and May. That is because that is when the Sun moves through your income and financial sectors and where the Sun goes, Venus and Mercury follow. However, every now and then we have a year where, while the normal patterns still apply, there is something bigger going on and 2018 is one of those years. To start with this is all about income matters, with lucky Jupiter in your income sector until the 9th November. This makes 2018 one of your most potentially lucrative income years in over a decade and with a lot of support from Neptune on the work front, this has the potential to be very lucrative. Things get off to an empowered start, with Mars also in your income sector until the 27th January. The Sun, Mercury and Venus all moved through late last year, supporting Jupiter in his early months. However, Mars is the planet that can really smash through glass ceilings and give us the confidence to fight for what we deserve. Apart from a Full Moon in your income sector on the 30th April, which could trigger unexpected income developments, Jupiter will largely work in the background. The real push will come when Venus returns to your income sector on the 9th December, exactly two months to the day before Jupiter is due to leave. With Mercury returning on the 10th October and the Sun on the 24th October, there will be plenty of support during Jupiter’s final months. Even after the fact things will continue, with Venus returning for a double dip visit from the 3rd December to the 8th January. This will squeeze out any remaining income potential, from this extraordinary year. While it won’t be immediately apparent, there are also some exciting developments on the financial front this year. To start with it is business as usual, with no focus on your financial situation and money matters as a whole until Venus returns to your financial sector on the 31st March. With Venus here until the 25th April, the Sun from the 20th April to the 21st May and Mercury from the 14th May to the 30th May, this is when your annual financial update will take place. This is still business as usual, until Uranus returns on the 16th May. This is the first time Uranus or any of the outer planets have visited your financial sector since 1942 and apart from a short break from the 7th November to the 6th March 2019, he’s here until 2027. This is the start of a major new period of financial growth and a journey towards a more authentic approach to money matters.
After three years in your income sector Saturn left at the end of 2017, wrapping up a visit that began in December 2014. It was during that three year period that the hard work was done, not just on the income front but professionally as well. By the time you move into 2018 it will appear as though things have run their course, but there is every reason to expect that income matters will catch their second wind. Even though there will be another round of planetary activity on the income front later in the year, the money gods aren’t quite finished with exploiting the potential created over the last three years. The year begins with Mercury on his own in your income sector with the Sun, Saturn and Venus having all left within five days of each other in December. This allows you to start the year with a smart head for money and your head in the game, but for all intense and purposes in the process of tying up loose ends. The fact that Mercury will leave on the 11th January, with no other planets to pass the baton onto, could be seen as evidence that this was the end of things. That is not the case, with Mars’ return from the 27th January to the 18th March likely to be a period when you exploit the real potential from the last three years. This will not only coincide with new developments on the job front, but with Uranus’ final months in your work sector. There will be a push from the money and professional gods to make this period as lucrative as possible. However, apart from a Full Moon on the income from on the 30th May, your income sector will remain empty until Mercury returns on 31st October. This in reality is the norm, with the last three years the aberration. Once things pick up again on the 31st October it will be with a vengeance, with Mercury returning just nine days before Jupiter’s return to your income sector on the 9th November which will kick off your most lucrative year in over a decade. Where until now it has seemed that Saturn’s three year visit to your income sector has been the main event, in reality this has been the training ground, preparing you for lucky Jupiter’s return. However, what that gap from Mars’ departure on the 18th March to Mercury’s return on the 31st October does is give income matters a chance to run their course and play out without intervention. It is also a chance to put some focus on money matters. For the first time in four years, a period of planetary focus on your financial situation and money matters from Venus’ return to your financial sector on the 25th April to the Sun’s departure on the 21st June, will run without planetary activity on the income front and in opposition. This isn’t the major focus the money gods are putting onto income matters, but it is a valuable chance to regroup and get your financial ducks in a row.
In terms of the scale of focus that the money gods place on income and money matters each year, it ranges from the norm you can expect in any year, right through to game changing and extreme. This year you have the game changing and extreme end of the scale on the income front and for the majority of the year the mundane on the financial front. We’ll start with your financial situation and money matters as a whole, for this is easier to explain and gives you a sense of scale. There have been no planets in your financial sector since Ceres left in September 2017 and there won’t be any until Venus returns from the 20th May to the 14th June. With Mercury returning on the 13th June and the Sun on the 21st June, this is the point in the year when your annual financial update takes place, with a chance to take care of any financial housekeeping. With the Sun gone by the 23rd July, this is a short annual update. The only clue that something might be afoot, is that the New Moon here on the 13th July is a solar eclipse. This is the first sign that the lunar nodes are drawing close, with the North Node returning to your financial sector and the South Node to your income sector on the 7th November. This brings the promise of more eclipses next year, but is also a sign that money matters might soon be holding their own, especially in 2019. However, the news and where the money gods have all their big guns positioned is in your income sector, bringing you to not just your most important income year in a decade or even decades, but your most important income years ever. Yes, that is ‘years’ and not ‘year’, with Saturn’s return to your income sector in December 2017 kicking off the most powerful three income years you have ever or will ever see again. The power comes from the fact that Saturn has teamed up with Pluto, who has been here since 2008. This is the first time that they have met up here in our lifetime and will not only remain together until December 2020, but at the end of next year will be joined in their final year by Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion. As powerful as this year is, this is just the first year in a powerful three year period, with the third year likely to be the most potent. You begin the year, as you always do, with the Sun in your income sector until the 20th January. You also have Venus here until the 18th January and Mercury from the 11th January to the 1st February. However, the real push will come when Mars moves through, first from the 18th March to the 16th May and then again from the 13th August to the 11th September. To have Mars here as well is giving these powerful income forces a vehicle. Pluto is the planet of change and revolution and Saturn is the planet that gives you the power to move mountains if you have to. Together for the first time here in our lifetime, this creates the potential for enormous change and growth, not just this year but over the course of the next three years.
Take the lunar nodes out of your two money houses and you would still have an auspicious year on both fronts. Though in both cases the lunar nodes are something that will take care of themselves. Until leaving your financial sector on the 7th November the North Node will work to keep your financial situation and money matters on track, moving forward and with a clear sense of financial direction. The South Node in your income sector, is more connected with the past and untapped income potential. Both will be particularly active around the time of the eclipses that they create and when there is planetary activity. Since the North Node returned to your financial sector and the South Node to your income sector in May 2017, all the planetary activity has been on the financial front. That will continue right through to early September, with continuous planetary activity here since mid 2017. What has kept things active long after they should have run their course for the year, is that you not only have Ceres making her first visit in four years, but a retrograde phase until the 19th March is keeping her here until the 28th June. It is while Ceres is retrograde that a total lunar eclipse on the 1st February will give money matters a push. With Ceres here until late June, this allows enough time for Venus to return on the 14th June and with the Sun and Mercury taking things out to the 6th September, these will be the most active months of the year for money matters. It is during that period that a solar eclipse will fall on the 23rd August. Until now there has been no planetary activity on the income front and nothing to test the South Node’s potential. That will change when Venus, planet of money returns to your income sector on the 18th January. If anyone can hunt out income potential it is Venus, planet of money, making her the perfect planet to kick things off. Once things start to move on the income front it should all start to move fairly quickly, with Venus in your income sector from the 18th January to the 11th February, the Sun from the 20th January to the 19th February and Mercury from the 1st February to the 18th February. From Venus’ return on the 18th January to the Sun’s departure on the 19th February is a period of just over a month, the shortest and most condensed annual update possible. The best part about a quick, sharp burst like this, especially with the South Node creating so much potential for so long and especially with a solar eclipse on the 16th February, is that this can sweep in and make things happen quickly. Yet the money gods still have a wildcard up their sleeves, with Mars visiting not once but twice. First from the 16th May to the 13th August and again from the 11th September to the 16th November. Mars will be here when the South Node leaves on the 7th November and during a total lunar eclipse on the income front on the 28th July, making sure every possible advantage is accessed. What you lacked in planetary activity last year, you get in abundance this year.
Of your two money houses, your financial sector which puts the focus on your financial situation and money matters and your income sector, the balance of power is on income matters this year. And not surprising, with Neptune in your income sector since 2012. However, this is the first year since then that you’ve been able to take full advantage of this. This is partly because there is a lot less focus on money matters than there has been in previous years and because you have lucky Jupiter in your career sector until the 9th November. The other thing working in favour of both income and money matters this year, is that they are largely sticking to their own lanes. The most active months on the income front and also the most potentially lucrative months of the year run from Venus’ return to your income sector on the 11th February to Juno’s departure on the 28th April. Apart from a Full Moon in your financial sector on the 2nd March, there will be no planetary activity on the financial front during that time. This means that income matters will have a completely clear field, with no competition or roadblocks and for the first time in over a decade, with the support of lucky Jupiter in your career sector. Another factor that could see income matters escalate dramatically, especially towards the end and after this period, is that Chiron will leave your income sector on the 17th April. Where Neptune is the planet of dreams and fantasies and will always work to fuel your confidence and a sense of what’s possible, Chiron is the planet of healing and the gatekeeper to old financial demons. Where Neptune wants you to dream Chiron, the wounded healer, reminds of past setbacks. To have Chiron leave is going to set Neptune free to soar and in partnership with Jupiter in your career sector right through to the 9th November, this creates a lucrative environment that will continue for the rest of the year. Chiron will return from the 26th September to the 18th February 2019 in order to tie up loose ends, before leaving for good. This will leave Pisces on his own, apart from the annual return of the faster planets and Jupiter’s return in 2021/2022, until he leaves in 2026. Neptune will also be on his own when the Sun, Ceres, Venus and Mercury move through your financial sector, which they will do from the 28th June to the 23rd September. In fact, Chiron will return to your income sector just three days later, avoiding an opposition by the skin of his teeth. All planets moving through your financial sector will move into opposition with Neptune, but with support from Jupiter and with none of Chiron’s old baggage, this will quickly turn into motivation. That period from the 28th June to the 23rd September, will be your only chance this year to focus on your financial situation and money matters.
There are two main factors that will define this financial year. The first is what is happening and the second is what is not happening. What isn’t happening is that the financial tension and pressure between income and financial forces that has dogged the last two years won’t follow you into 2018. For a while there, in the final months of 2018 that wasn’t looking like this would be the case. Jupiter left your financial sector and moved out of opposition with both planets in your income sector in October 2017. However, with the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars still moving through, that pressure continued and didn’t come to an end until Mars left in December. You will not only move into the New Year with no planetary activity in your financial sector, but January 2018 is the first time you have ever moved into a new month with no planetary activity there since August 2016. And when there is no planetary activity in your financial sector there is no pressure on income forces and no financial tension. That is what is missing this year and it is absent from the get go. With Jupiter gone from your financial sector, this is an area of your chart that is only active at certain points in the year, something that hasn’t been the case since 2015. There is also a twist of fate this year that will see even this year’s financial update unfold problem free. The income front is a very different story, for with Eris in your income sector for over 90 years and not due to leave for another 30 years, she has been here our entire life. Yet as a dwarf planet and as she is here for longer than a human lifespan, Eris acts as the gatekeeper to your values in general. It wasn’t until Uranus returned in 2010 that this power was activated. This meant that when Jupiter returned to your financial sector in 2016 a real power struggle ensued, a power struggle that was only resolved when Mars left your financial sector in December. This sets the scene for some rapid expansion and some lucrative developments on the income front in the early part of the year, starting with Mercury’s return to your income sector on the 6th March through to his departure on the 14th May. During that time the Sun and Venus will both move through and Mercury himself will spend from the 23rd March to the 15th April in retrograde motion. Uranus, who turns direct in your income sector on the 3rd January will exploit all that this support offers. However, Uranus will leave on the 16th May, returning from the 7th November to the 6th March 2019, in order to tie up loose ends. That timing is significant, for the faster planets will move through your financial sector from the 7th August to 24th October. Without Uranus in opposition in your income sector there is unlikely to be the financial tension you will normally experience at this time of year. Where income matters get a free run from the 6th March to the 14th May, money matters will get a free run from the 7th August to the 24th October. Venus will return for a double dip visit to your financial sector from 1st November to the 3rd December and will run into opposition with Uranus just as he retrogrades back into your income sector on the 7th November. However, as the planet of money, Venus will be working to exploit both sides of the fence.
